The big advantage of this apartment is its unbeatable location right in the midst of the historical centre of Nice. It is just two minutes from the beach and there are all kinds of shops practically on the doorstep. The exceptionally light and airy apartment is on the fourth floor of the house and affords a fantastic view over the town with its Court of Justice and the churches, as far as the mountains. The house does not have a lift.
There is no parking space by the house, but nearby there is a public car park, if you are arriving by car.
The 65m² apartment can accommodate six people. It has been carefully renovated, preserving the original flooring with its baked clay slabs, as well as the high ceilings. Contemporary French furniture rounds off the elegant ambience. Modern conveniences such as a B&O TV, a DVD player, a B&O radio and free wireless Internet access (15MB) are also provided. There are British channels, including Sky and other sports channels, as well as French, German, Dutch and Russian channels. The spacious living room faces south and west. It comprises a sitting area with two three-seater sofas and a dining table for six people. One of the sofas can be used as a sofa bed (135cm wide) for two further people. The renovated kitchen is well-equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The first bedroom has a super kingsize bed (180cm wide), while the second bedroom has two single beds. The completely tiled bathroom provides a bath with a shower attachment. The apartment has heating and there are ceiling fans for hot summer days. Air conditioning is not allowed in the old town. A highchair and a cot can be provided on request.
Owing to the perfect location at the heart of the old town, it is not far to the nearest grocery shops, shops, markets and restaurants. Everything is just a stone’s throw away. There is plenty to explore, such as typical French markets or charming restaurants. Icecream sellers, pantomimes and street dancers provide entertainment on the streets and squares of the old town.
