Il Carugio is a cosy and spacious flat located on the third and last floor of a small building in the heart of Rapallo's historic centre. The accommodation comprises a large living room with a double sofa bed, a dining area, a kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom with access to a small balcony.
Il Carugio offers a splendid view over Rapallo's rooftops and harbour. It is equipped with every comfort such as Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Its central location, just a few metres from the beach, makes it an excellent choice for those wishing to explore the city and enjoy the sea. It is located in Piazza Garibaldi, a charming little square that reflects the lively and welcoming atmosphere of the old town. With its triangular shape and stone pavement, the square is surrounded by elegant buildings, outdoor cafés and shops, creating the perfect ambience for a relaxing stroll. In the centre, the statue dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi, which gives the square its name, is an important landmark.
The square is also the ideal place to start exploring Rapallo: from here one can easily reach the waterfront, where one can enjoy a panoramic walk over the Tigullio Gulf and the surrounding hills. The waterfront also leads to the marina where boat excursions depart, allowing you to visit nearby locations such as Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino and the Cinque Terre, or simply enjoy the area's crystal-clear waters.
Rapallo, with its privileged position in the Tigullio Gulf, offers a variety of activities that satisfy both those seeking relaxation and those who prefer adventure. For those who love the sea, Rapallo's beach, with its sand and pebble shoreline, is ideal for those who want to swim, sunbathe, or engage in water sports such as windsurfing or paddleboarding.
Nature lovers can explore the surroundings of Rapallo, in particular the Regional Natural Park of Portofino, with numerous hiking trails leading to panoramic viewpoints from which one can admire the coastline and the green Mediterranean scrub. For an even more spectacular view, it is possible to climb up to Rapallo Castle, a medieval fortress overlooking the sea that today also hosts exhibitions and cultural events.

Rapallo boasts a historic church, the Basilica di San Gervasio e Protasio, with fascinating architecture, and several local museums, such as the Museo Attilio e Cleofe Gaffoglio, which exhibits works of art and objects related to the tradition of the area.
