How to get to Arles
By plane
If you are flying, the cloest airports to Arles are Nîmes, Avignon or Marseille. Nîmes is the closest but does not have that many daily international flights. From the UK, carriers such as Flybe have direct flights from several regional airports - please see www.aeroport-nimes.fr for a list of all carriers that service the airport.
The main international airport, which is serviced by many European carriers is Marseille which is just 77kms from Arles. From the airport, the best option is to hire a car as you will need the flexibility and convenience it provides when touring the surrounding villages close to Arles.
By train
Arles is on the Paris TVG line and there are 2 trains per day connecting the cities with a journey time of just 4 hours.
If travelling from London, you can take the take the Eurostar to either Lille or Paris and then change trains to Arles.
