Sandwich is a medieval town in the Dover District of Kent sitting on the River Stour and just a few minutes drive from the fabulous beaches in the Bay. The historic town centre is simply exquisite with narrow cobbled streets lined with half timbered houses and is the place to head to for the boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Sandwich is also surrounded by lovely villages, such as Ash, Worth and Woodnesborough which are perfect to visit and enjoy a gastro pub lunch. Further afield are the nearby towns of Canterbury and the Port of Dover where you can jump on a ferry and spend a day in France.
