Although apparently it could be said that the area from the breakwaters of the Ginjolers stream to the mouth of Santa Margarida constitutes a single beach, in Roses there are four different beaches depending on the stretch: Nova, del Rastell, del Salatar and Santa Margarida. The Salatar beach is a stretch of about 500 metres long. It is fine sand, like the neighbouring beaches, and has all the necessary services. It should not be forgotten that it is located in one of the most touristy areas of Roses, with a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
